WHEN THE SCALES ARE UNBALANCED…

Are you giving your man the best you got? How about your job? How about yourself?

Are you giving everyone and everything else so much of YOU that there’s NO TIME OR ENERGY left for DEEV? Why do you feel it’s acceptable to put your needs at the bottom of the priority list? Here’s your inspector gadget clue: IT’S NOT ACCEPTABLE!

Even if he’s unfaithful or abusive, some DEEVS will continue to put his needs first. Some will actually defend his actions to others, and I know intuition is sending some type of smoke signals to your brain that say HELL NO and Enough!

 At work, your boss may not appreciate all the extra effort you put forth, credits others for your ideas , and continuously overlooks you for opportunities to showcase your talents; yet you continue to grind above and beyond expectations.

Honey who’s making these grandiose gestures for you? When did Deev become the lowest priority?  

If you are his last priority, or the last straw man on the totem pole on your team (I get it, shit happens that you can’t always control), YOU SHOULD STILL BE THE HIGHEST AND MOST IMPORTANT PRIORITY TO YOURSELF!

Are you trying to prove you are worthy of his love? Are you trying to prove you are intelligent enough to be in your position or a better one? Are you trying to prove these things to them and those, or in the end, is this really what you are trying to prove to yourself?

During childhood you learned about the little engine that could… I think I can, I think I can. Honey full-grown, your internal engine’s mantra should be reciting: I KNOW I CAN, I KNOW I CAN!

How long can you continue putting out more than what is coming in? It’s not a sustainable business model, so why do you keep trying to make this a sustainable personal worth model?

When everyone else values you the least, that’s WHEN you MUST value yourself the MOST!
